Glasnost Gone

With Spring in the air, the Ukrainian Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, has been out and about helping farmers. Visited the front line village of Staryi Aidar in the Luhansk Oblast (province). May 6th they tweeted the below text and pictures.

“Keeping farm animals along the contact line in Donbas is a challenge as public pastures are not safe because of mines & unexploded ordnance. Olena from Staryi Aidar has received alfalfa seeds & fertilizers to prepare a new pasture for her cow and its new calf.”
