Moscow, April 19. /TASS/. Telegram, the cloud-based instant messaging service, remains accessible in Russia, said its creator Pavel Durov on Thursday. According to Durov, Russia’s media and telecom watchdog, the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media, has blocked 18 million IP addresses since the court’s decision to carry out the crackdown on the messenger.
“Telegram remains accessible to Russian users despite Russian officials blocking more than 18 million IP addresses over the last 4 days,” Durov wrote on his VK social network page.
