Glasnost Gone

Some good news.
Ukraine’s delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, has helped refurbish a medical clinic. Clinic offers healthcare to over 3,000 patients from the front line villages of Hranitne and Staromarivka. The original medical centre was hit by shelling in 2014 and has been in a poor state of repair ever since.

I’ve added a Google Earth satellite image of the villages. Hranitne is held by Ukraine and across the river, Staromarivka is located in Russian occupied territory. The main river bridge connecting the villages was blown up in 2014.
